Aaliyah Haughton became famous in 1994 when she released her debut album Age isn't just the number. The album, released when she only had fifteen years old was certified Gold. R. Kelly heavily influenced this collaboration, and helped to bring her into the spotlight. In 1996, she teamed up with Jermaine Dpri and Timbaland for her sophomore studio album One In A Million, featuring the number one hit song If Your Girl only Knew. Aaliyah's second album entitled One in a Million was released in 1996. It contained the number-one smash single,"If You Girl Only Knew. Aaliyah starred alongside the famous martial artist Jet-Li Romeo Must Die (2000) the action and romantic film. Joel Silver spotted her in an awards show. She was in 2002 when she was in the Anne Rice-based thriller Queen of the Damned. In 2003, she appeared on screen in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. The actress was nominated for four times for the Grammy Awards, including 1999, 2001 and 2002. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. Her birthplace was in Connecticut to a family of Indian heritage. Mann is the abbreviation for her first name in marriage, Mankad. Aarti uses both Aarti Majumdar and Aarti Munn for her professional names. The acting career of her began in early 2000 with small roles on TV and films. Her other notable projects include Grey's Anatomy, Suits and Leverage. She also appeared in several commercials that included Volvo and other major automobile companies. She currently lives in Los Angeles along with her husband, daughter and pursues her acting profession.
