Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name given to Winona Laura Hoowitz who was born within Winona Minnesota. The parents of her daughter named her the city she grew up in after her birthplace. The father of her Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder is Jewish. Ryder believes that her father had an ethnically Jewish family. Uria Ryder is her younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are Ryder's half-siblings. Ryder's parents moved her and her siblings to Mendocino County California when Ryder turned seven. The town didn't even have electricity. Ryder, who was an avid reader when she was 12 years old, became a reader due to the fact that Ryder did not have access to television. Ryder, then 12, took up a place at the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in the year 1983. Lucas was dismissed in the year 1986 and Ryder, then barely 15 years old, landed the role of a leading actress. Ryder endured bullying while in high school. Her acting career, she hoped that it would aid her. It didn't turn out. She continued to pursue her goals. Beetlejuice which was a 1988 Tim Burton film, was her first major break. Ryder had a successful role in several films. In 1993 she received two nominations to win Academy Awards. One of them for her role as a character in The Age of Innocence.
