Lauren Alaina is a popular American Idol contestant from Season Ten. She's known as an attractive woman with a a strong devotion to God. Born and raised in Rossville Georgia Lauren tapped into her talent of singing after her cousin was diagnosed with brain cancer and convinced Lauren to go after her dreams of singing. Scotty Mccreery was her favorite friend while she was performing on American Idol. Their Christian roots in country music, as well as their likability was similar. Although Scotty took the win, Lauren was happy to lose to a best friend. She kissed him repeatedly after it was announced in what was later named proof of McLaina the couple's nickname used by Lauren and Scotty's supporters. Lauren is coy with Scotty and did so for several weeks. But both have said that they are as sisters and brothers, and best friends. The singer has had great success with her new album Wildflower, which was released in October 2011. It debuted at the top spot on iTunes. With her awesome looks angelic voice, and gorgeous sense of humor it is a fact that the album by Georgia Peach has talent and is bound to go places.
